Investment Banking VP Jobs

About Investment Banking VP Job Requirements

Generally, after three to fours years of experience, an Investment Banking Associate can become a Vice President and begin supervising the junior bankers on his or her team. VPs usually manage the whole investment banking department and direct all activities that take place in it. Their responsibilities range from managing the entire project to training and guiding junior members of the team. Vice presidents are in charge of managing important client relationships and closing deals.

 

Salary of an Investment Banking VP

The average salary for an investment banking vice president is around $300,000 with an additional bonus of about 60 – 200 % of their salary. The total compensation can range between $500,000 and $900,000 at large banks.
